The Road to Net-Zero

Our sustainability strategy is built on the virtues of globally recognised institutions aligned with human rights, the environment, ethics, and anti-corruption.

Engineering Resource Efficiency

We are committed to reducing the carbon footprint of our operations through engineering excellence and making the maximum of available resources.

  • Energy Consumption: Over the last year, we have achieved a 13% reduction in energy use per square metre of production. We installed counterbalance valve technology across hydraulic circuits and our primary machinery to reduce energy costs without impacting production.
  • Water Consumption: Our closed-loop, vertical, cylindrical tanks help reduce water use by 20%. We process dirty water, allow stone particles to settle, supply cleaner water back to the machines, and concentrate sludge for disposal. This helps us lower water costs, facilitate cleaner production, reduce downtime, extend equipment life, and improve controlled slurry management.

Scaling Responsibility Through Technology

Sustainability stems from manufacturing efficiency. We continue to invest in advanced technology and smarter systems that let us do more with less.

  • Mitigating Defects: Preventive measures such as machine alignment, blade condition monitoring, block positioning, line-setting accuracy, and thickness-wise tracking enabled us to improve slab recovery, strengthen quality performance, and reduce the taper-minus rework rate from 5% to 0.62% over the last year.
  • Production Efficiency: We strive for a stable and highly productive supply chain, with an average of 99% production achievement rate in 2025-26

Trust, Ethics and Transparency

We are a certified Great Place to Work® organisation, and we continue to uphold the highest standards of governance and human rights across our entire supply chain.

  • Supply Chain Management: We have set a precedent in ethical stone sourcing. We are compliant with the ETI Base Code and continue to support our supply chain to follow suit.
  • Labour Standards: We are 100% compliant with local laws, including bank-transferred wages and statutory social security. We also have a strict company policy of no forced or child labour.
  • Health and Safety: We are an IMS-certified company. We manage industry-specific risks, such as silicosis, through effective dust-control systems and lung-function testing every six months for our workforce.
  • Social Responsibility: We actively support our community through school programs for children’s education and by helping families access government welfare services.

Measurable Progress: Latest Milestones

We believe in total transparency. Here are some key excerpts from our latest operational review:

Operational Safety

Safety audits, PPE compliance and
3-hour mandatory training every quarter for all workers to reinforce safety guidelines – our endeavour to ensure 100% adherence, zero accidents and a safe place to work

Electricity Reduction

14-24% less usage across machinery through operational breakthroughs and technological advancements, exceeding our annual target of 5%

Defect Rate

By standardising processes and improving machine stability, we reduced key defect rates by almost 65%, with strong progress in taper-minus control

Manufacturing excellence isn’t about how much we make, but how well we make it – with care for performance and respect for the planet.
